Tina loves to create and has made things her whole life. From an early age, she would spend hours in her room making things while her large family buzzed about in the house around her. School projects were always her favorite, and she was fortunate to have received special assignments along the way, like her 2nd grade art teacher Ms. Welch who suggested, "Decorate this bulletin board for the cafeteria!" Over her lifetime, though, her greatest inspiration was her American foster grandmother "Tutu" who encouraged in Tina a love of painting and creating! Tina is a self-taught artist whose work is influenced by nature and years of working in professional theatre and the early childhood classroom. This love of art is what she loves to share with others. Tina lives in Salida, Colorado with her husband Brian, and they have two grown children in Durango and Austin. When not creating, Tina finds inspiration from gardening, cooking for family, and hiking the many trails in the surrounding Arkansas Valley. Whether painting a mural, developing a community project, or making a fun decoration, let Tina create something for you today!
